"Futures Trading":  Every morning, before markets open worldwide, some investors buy and sell stock and place orders which give a "hint" and only a hint about the day's direction of the market. Being that the entire world does business primarily in US Dollars, "The Fed" is a force to be reckoned with where impact on your wallet is concerned. Federal Reserve Chair:  Currently Ms. Janet Yellen; arguably the most powerful woman in the world at present. This person's words carry great weight where the flow of trillions of dollars of liquidity is concerned.

"Wall Street" - A colloquial term meant to describe the active stock markets and futures exchanges currently active in the USA.

"CBOE" - Chicago Board of Mercantile Exchange: An exchange in Chicago where bonds, futures, commodities and derivatives are traded against the dollar and other currencies.

"The EU" A colloquial term meant to describe the active financial markets and political structures of the European Union. For descriptive purposes, includes Great Britain. Main Players: Germany, France, Italy. The currency of the EU is called the "Euro". Current Chair of the European Bank is Mario Draghi.

"The BOJ" - The Bank of Japan: The financial arm of the Japanese government. Currency is the Yen. Current Prime Minister is Shinzo Abe.

"Beijing"  - Capital city of the Peoples' Republic of China (PRC). The name is used as a colloquialism for the Chinese government. Currency is The Yuan. Value is set by Beijing.
