Teacher's Note: I feel the above video does a good job of reminding the viewer to "take it with a grain of salt", and the narrator admits that some of the content makes sweeping generalizations. However, I must add a personal note to remind folks to not take it too closely to heart. You are kids, still, and please do not think I am blaming any of you for your particular circumstances. The above video is submitted to provoke thoughtful debate. I find the video is more relatable if I imagine the narrator using the words "successful" and "unsuccessful" for "rich" and "poor". Finally, I can personally point to a number of things in this video that have, and continue to, hold me back as I try to still, at 51, develop my own person. -bk
